Wow. We discovered a few months ago that the popular online advertising site was a virtual haven for crooks and scumbags, but they've really outdone themselves this time. We're shocked at what is allowed to go on in that cesspool. Not only is it a marketplace for scammers, fraudsters and various other types of thieves, now they're branching out into more serious crimes. A 24 year old New Jersey man has been arrested for "pimping" two sisters, aged 14 and 16 by way of ads on the Craig's List website.

Hey Craig... what the hell are you doing? First you're sheltering thieves and now you've got you some ho's, huh? That about the size of it?

Man Charged With Pimping Out Girls on Craigslist

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two teen sisters who had been reported missing in Pennsylvania were found working as prostitutes in New Jersey and police have arrested the man they say was a pimp.

Casson Coward, 24, of Pleasantville was taken into custody early Friday morning at a Galloway Township hotel.

Police were led to Coward after they arrested a 14-year-old for prostitution but soon learned that she and her 16-year-old sister were both listed as missing from Allentown.

According to a press release from the New Jersey State Police, the 16-year-old was found by Philadelphia police at 3 a.m. at Aramingo and Cumberland Avenues after she phoned her parents telling them she was dropped there by another suspect in this case.

She was then taken to state police in Bellmawr, N.J. who transported her to Atlantic City to meet her parents. The parents had been summoned to pick up their 14-year-old daughter after her arrest.

The case began when state police detectives arranged for an undercover trooper to meet with a prostitute found on Craigslist.com, a Web site that offers a variety of classified-type ads.

Police said the girls identified Coward as the one who had listed their services on Craigslist, complete with nude photographs and contact numbers. Coward had met them in Allentown, Pa., and transported them in his Cadillac to Atlantic City.

Coward was arrested at his father’s residence by a state police tactical unit who found him hiding in a closet.

Coward is being held in the Atlantic County Jail on $150,000 bail.

State Police and other law enforcement agencies to try to determine whether there are any other juveniles involved in this prostitution operation.

Vigilant crime victims are using crooks' own e-tools against them

Ten or 15 years ago, if somebody broke into your house and took a bicycle or a bunch of compact discs or a utility trailer or a child's coat, odds are you'd never see them again. You might go to the trouble of posting fliers about your lost property or visiting pawnshops, but you knew it was unlikely that you'd be able to recapture what was yours.

But these days, newspapers such as this one routinely carry stories about savvy victims who become online detectives, hunting -- and sometimes recovering -- property stolen from them and listed for sale on various online marketplaces.

Two stories in The Oregonian this week show how crime and recovery have been altered by the advent of anywhere-in-the-world, anytime-of-day marketplaces. .

In one example, a Washington County mom grew suspicious when she found a listing on eBay for a $114 coat exactly like the one her daughter lost or had stolen at school the day before. The mom noticed that the listing was posted by a frequent seller who claimed to be from Hillsboro and had the same name as a teacher at her daughter's school. She alerted police, who charged the teacher with the theft. The coat was recovered at the school, in shreds. The teacher told police she found it in the lost and found, took it home to sell online, but her dog chewed it up. Her court date is today.

The day before, The Oregonian detailed the elaborate sting arranged by a man whose bike was taken from a Pearl District sidewalk last month. He found an identical bike listed for sale on Craigslist, contacted the seller and arranged to meet so he could ostensibly buy (back) the bike. Unbeknown to the seller, the man had enlisted five friends who acted as lookouts at the scene. They used spoken code phrases and hand signals to communicate with each other and to delay the man until police could arrest him. The victim, Dory Van Fleet, got his bike back.

Other recent stories have detailed the case of the serial trailer thieves who sold as many as five trailers a day online, the Portland family accused of stealing goods from Target and Nordstrom, then selling them on Craigslist, and the case of alert Best Buy employees who saw stolen merchandise proffered on eBay.

These cases demonstrate that the Web is an equal-opportunity tool of empowerment. While online sales outlets give thieves an unprecedented ability to fence stolen property, they also enhance the ability of victims and police to track them down.

And for victims, that beats sitting at home and hoping the phone will ring.

What's Their Scam?

You may have recently received a letter in the mail saying that you have won a "utilities draw", suggesting that names were drawn from a list of individuals who have paid utility bills, and that you have won a large amount of money, commonly around $50,000 and in some cases more.

You probably thought it was legitimate due to the fact that the letter contained a check for $3,000 or $4000, drawn on a nationally known bank. The amount is always less than $5,000, as to not draw any undue attention during processing at the bank. You may have even called the bank and verified that the account did in fact exist and did in fact contain enough money to cover your check.

Let's hope you stopped right there and realized that if something sounds to good to be true it probably is, and threw the letter and the check in the trash. Otherwise, you may have serious trouble at YOUR bank.

The letter the Irish Technology Inc. scammers sent you will instruct you that in order to receive your huge winnings, you must first pay the taxes and transfer fees. This is what the check is for. You will be instructed to deposit the check into your bank account and then you will be required to write one of your own checks for that amount and mail it to a specified address within an extremely short amount of time. The deadline stated in the letter will be less than a week from the time you received it.

As I said, when you receive the letter you may verify the check with the bank and it will be good. However, by the time you deposit the check into your account and it is processed, the account on which it is drawn will be emptied and closed by the scammers and they will have already cashed YOUR check. By this time, the phone number they gave you will be disconnected.

In the instance demonstrated above the scammers were using an account with Charter One Bank in Illinois. We have been in contact with the bank and are awaiting confirmation of further information. We'll update on this issue as soon as this information is confirmed.

Popular internet classified site Craig's List is actively protecting scam artists and allowing them to repeatedly rip off people who respond to posted ads on the site.

Electrician Brent Henley, of I.S.S. Solutions based in Gwinnett County Georgia advertises for labor on Craig's List and then refuses to pay. A friend of mine recently fell victim to this unscrupulous employer and worked for him for three weeks and was not paid.

We went on Craig's List earlier today and posted several warnings to job seekers, all of which were deleted after Brent Henley cried like a bitch to Craig's List staff. We know it was him, because he was posting ads for his HDTV and Plasma TV Installation service while he was flagging our posts.

To the owners of Craig's List I'm calling you scammer sheltering faggots out. You are enabling this scumbag to rip people off. You've been warned about what he's doing on your site. I'd suggest you kick this piece off shit of your site immediately. You've been warned.

And to Craig's List users, be careful Craig's List is not a safe place for honest people.

Someone also posted on the Craig's List jobs forum, claiming to be Brent saying he was going to sue me. Well, if that was you Brent, I know that lawyers cost money, you won't even pay your help, so why would I believe you will pay a lawyer who can't really do anything for you. There is nothing illegal about me exposing you here on this website for the thieving piece of shit that you are. Stealing labor from people, now that's illegal, and you know you are guilty of it. The builder has already verified that the work was done and by whom, yet money due from I.S.S. Solutions, which is you, has not been paid. You've repeatedly ignored phone calls and failed to respond to messages. You are deliberately evading making due payment. You're going to need a lawyer, but not for suing me, as you have no case you deadbeat.

The easiest thing for you to do is pay the money you owe for the labor.

Brent Henley of I.S.S. Solutions places help wanted ads on the popular website Craig's List and after hiring and working individuals for weeks he continuously stalls with the payroll. He gives lame excuses like "The builders on vacation" and "The builder's grandfather died and he can't pay until next week", However "next week" doesn't seem to come around. Brent ignores his telephone and turns it of in efforts to dodge phone calls from people who he owes money to for labor.

Brent has worked in subdivisions in Dacula, Georgia located in Gwinnett County. We will soon be posting the names and contact info for builders that Brent works for.

We checked Craig's List earlier and Brent doesn't seem to be hiring this week, but we'll be on the look out for him.

Brent Henley also places ads on Craig's List for his satellite tv, HDTV, plasma tv, home theater system installation service in which he claims to be licensed for low voltage/sbca and installs entertainment systems all around merto Atlanta. We are in the process of obtaining and verifying his license information which we will post here as soon as it is available.

These posts ran on Craig's List for approximately 6 hours before being removed by CL staff. Why in the world would Craig's List knowingly allow these scammers to work from their message boards. This is something we will be looking into.

Scammers Be Gone, The Jig Is Up

Several years ago I ran a website called Internet Treasure Chest Scam, which along with a similar site run by a guy in Pennsylvania, was largely responsible for stopping Damian Zamora and the End70 Corporation with their fraudulent Internet Treasure Chest company (believed to be the brainchild of notorious internet huckster Don Dupree) from advertising their scam in television infomercials. Do you remember the last time you saw one of those? It's been a long time and they won't be back on.

The ITC Scam site was one of my very first ventures in addressing thieves and scammers head on. I have to admit, that with very little effort, the results were quite astounding. Zamora was shut down on television. I personally recovered several thousand dollars of my own money from his corporation as well as having the opportunity to aid and assist others in doing the same.

During the time that I ran the site I was contacted by hundreds of other victims of that scam. People ranging from a 12 year old boy whose father had "advanced" him the money to start an online business to a 78 year old grandmother who was drawn into the ITC scheme in hopes of supplementing a fixed income. Every time I checked the e-mail I couldn't believe how many people were writing to me asking advice on getting their money back. I am truly glad that I was able to help some of those people.

After the court ruling barring ITC and End70 from fraudulent advertising, and of course after receiving my check from those thieving bastards, I eventually shut the site down due to a lack of time to continue to maintain it.

That was several years ago. Although Zamora and End70 are no longer clogging the late night airwaves with their money grubbing treasure chest of scams and lies, con-artists still run rampant through our society. Well, today is a bad day for many of them.

Guess what scumbags... I'm back, and I'm taking you scammers and crooks on head to head. Pack it up boys, as far as you scammers are concerned... the internet is closed, so get the fuck out.
